Attention Ron Anderson

I got confused when I read the one that started " No sorry it was yours. " instead of "No, sorry it was not yours."

Yes, but you've lifted it from the context in Luke, which broader wisdom should govern human transactions, including those with merchants: ====================== "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you." ====================== Of course some, merchants included, can't resist the false feeling of power they get when they blow people off now and then, often followed by remorse. They would rather "win" an argument than make a sale.

What worked for me in the business world was to write my "vent" in a letter and hold it overnight before mailing. It always read differently in the morning and was usually discarded or at least severely edited before mailing.
