Back again

Hi all, Back in the land of sewing after 3 weeks in the sun . Vitamin D fully charged up now and I am ready to roll for the spring exhibitions.

DH found and brought without consultation 5 Metres of some lovely apple fabric when he was out on his daily walk, it's such great fabric I was very impressed with his choice. I managed a little hand sewing while I was away as I took some pompom flowers that I am adding to the twirl T shirt dresses that I got started on before we went away. So now I am ready to get going on the rest of those that I left cut out here while gone. The elves did not do them for me while my back was turned unfortunately. Hope you are all well and sewing.

Welcome home. How wonderful to have the time in the sun. It makes everything feel and look better. What a great DH you have to find a piece of fabric you love. If you want to send him on a little shopping trip for any of us here I know I would welcome it. My DH is a a great guy, but I'm afraid he wouldn't know apiece of a piece of silk crepe from a piece of burlap. I would never let him loose in a fabric store. Juno

Congratulations! It's still very winter-like here, we could do with a little less rain, thankyewverymuch.

Wonderful! When I was making AG doll clothes for DGD, DH used to come home with tiny prints he found somewhere. I thought it was particularly lovely that *he* thought to find fabric for doll clothes. :-)

My elves have been on strike! I have more of the teddy bears cut out and must get them to the hospital, they are almost out. Dealing with PC issues has robbed me of time!

It's the first time ever so that's why I thought he needed the extra praise.

The teddies look cute and fun,I do agree with you about the faces but my lips are sealed. I wish those elves would turn up but there must be needy shoemakers out there.
