Where are you based, and what will you sew?

Oh, excellent! I love the way the Indian tailors here just look at you and CHOP! One blouse cut out in the right size! But it's a dying art, and I know that if you produce a good pattern that covers a good range of sizes, it will sell well over there - and here! :)

One thing that always amuses me is the total lack of finishing off in most Indian clothes here, even unlined ones. I bought a sari at New Year, to cut up and make a jacket out of (it's a challenge and this will be the third one I've done for myself), and the blouse to go with it is lined but unfinished, even on this quite pricey sari.

How about some salwar kameez patterns too? And patterns for men's clothing?
