Blind hemmer

I need some suggestions on a blind hemmer to buy. I now have the BH600. From what I read every one thinks it is so great-and it is when it is working. I have lost count on how many times mine had been repaired. Do blind hemmers have a "lemon law"? So I am looking for a different hemmer now. Any and all ideas would be appreciated. Maybe something more sturdy !? Ruth

I have the baby lock pro line superb finish, have used it on very lightweights, regular and really heavy fur type fabrics. Wouldn't be with out it. If you are in the uk try GUR in Birmingham, will usually beat any price.

What do you use the hemmer for, personal or business? If you use it a lot, try an industrial one. AllBrands.com has several listed, in the stand and portables. I have both, and the portable is great for when the panels are too heavy to take to the machine, I can just bring the portable to my table and hem them!

I have a repair and alteration business here at my home. Some days it will be used often but mostly for trousers, skirts, dresses and occasionally drapes. I am in Ohio and I am going now to look at the site you recommended. I figure that I am spending enough to keep this one going to buy an industrial one. Out of warranty now! Ruth
