Bra-making stuff

G'day Pora

Well I didn't think for one minute your original post was spam and I too, think you are owed an apology, although don't hold your breath waiting for one!!

I make my own bras and use LeeAnne Burgess book and video, in fact I bought all the elastic and other hardware from her. For other lingerie I use the Kwik Sew's Making Beautiful Lingerie by Kerstin Martensson.

Thanks for the url for the elastics etc, I think postage costs will rule them out, but still it's nice to look and drool

Rather than wear boring old white or skintone bra/lingerie I like to wear colours too and always make a full coordinating set when I make a new outfit...it doesn't bother me that nobody else knows that my lingerie is colour-coordinated, but it makes me feel good. So go for it and make all the lovely colour you can find.

BTW...LeeAnne Burgess' video has lots of info on dyeing so you can get all those wonderful colours that you've always dreamed of.

Suppose I'll cop a blast now for spamming, but I don't care because nobody died and made IMS the newsgroup queen!!!

Bronwyn ;-)

I have wanted some for, oh, 30 years, and they are finally available via BUST magazine ("for women with something to get off their chests").

And they just started offering them in true Amazon sizes!

Oh, I see. If you can't afford to lose it, then I would say that probably $60 is worth it (that is, if you have the $60 to spend)

I guess I haven't noticed because I haven't been following too carefully recently due to an excessive work load -- my apologies, then, for the misunderstanding.

This is true, but I don't easily retain people's names, and as I just wrote, I am truly sorry for the false accusation.

Well, it's certainly easier than perfecting a bra pattern, that's for sure. :)

No, it's more like "I have always had a horrid time retaining names and keeping them straight, including those of my children, and I have had torrents of work recently and haven't followed threads too well -- and I just came back here after not showing up for several days, saw that the OP had, indeed, been a previous poster, and already apologized -- twice."

Well done, Melinda (all three times). I always appreciate people whose apology does not include, an "if I ...".
