Brother Serger

Hi Sun,

Yes, I am with you. I purchased both the PC-6000 and the the White 2000ATS. (Thanks to your good advice)!!!!! Which I may add was excellent. I got the PC-6000 for $499.00 with free shipping. I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!!!!!! I did buy my White serger from my local dealer but they had the same price as the internet. $339.00. I am sooooo pleased with both of these machines. In the White video they talk about a workbook. I have been trying to find this workbook, but have been unsuccessful. By any chance do you know anything about it?

I sure would like to buy this workbook. It sounds like it would be quite helpful.

I hope you had a very nice Xmas.

Sun,

Thanks for the great info! I have also been a "tinkerer," but new technology in these machines makes me a bit shy about fooling around with them too much. (They aren't "my mother's Singer!" ) I've only gotten back to sewing recently after many years absence.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service and support of my Brother dealer in northern Virginia (closer to D.C.). I haven't had to use her much, just a glitch in the beginning with the PC8500D (probably caused by user ), which was taken care of quickly and much to my satisfaction.

I'm going to go to the Hus/Viking store I found sometime in the next few weeks, look around, ask questions and see what I find. I will ask if they have a service/repair option for machines not bought there, maybe some sort of contract one can buy.

I need to quit my day job, so I can spend more time with all this fun stuff! I got $150 worth of JoAnn's gift cards for Christmas....what to buy, what to buy!

Just hop right on down to Houston and I'll be very happy to find items to buy with those gift cards from JoAnne's and or Hancock's and Hobby Lobby. Emily, who added 1400+ miles to our pick-up over the past week. It was my first rip to Memphis at Christmas in some 13 years and almost that long since I've been in MS during the winter. Great gift from DS and the weather co-operated beautifully with only one day of rain and we were at my aunt's then.
