Can you sew large(ish) text with Pfaff 2054?

My wife has a Pfaff 2054. She says it can sew small text. But she wouldn't say that she's an expert with all the features of her machine. So I was wondering if it's possible to sew (embroider?) somewhat larger text? ---Like someone's name on a shirt: about 1" tall by a few inches, and thick enough to read at a few feet distance. Like on a gas station attendant's shirt. Perhaps there's an attachment? If not, is there an affordable/effective accessory that we could purchase to do this? Ideally it would be something that could accept uploaded JPEGs and fonts---but I'm not sure if that's necessary. Probably any basic alphabets of 1"x3" and fairly thick would be fine. (I notice the bad reviews of this machine here, but my wife has used her machine just fine for her purposes for a couple years now.) Thanks! --JP outyourbackdoor.com

I'm not familiar with the machine you describe so I don't know if attachments for monogramming are available. A home embroidery machine can stitch the text, but would require the text to be digitized either from a commercial designer or home software. Many are available.

letters are already digitized, and can be re-sized. I like the Embird fonts very much, and have purchased several.
