Where are you located? I imagine the U.S. since you are a Comcast ISP subscriber. There are people in this group from all over the world, so you need to specify where you live.

Depends where you are... I just got some superb stuff from Croft Mill. C&H Fabrics in Canterbury had some good stuff (nice price, too!) as did John Lewis's. My sister bought some fabulous stuff for a very good price in the odd Indian emporium across the road from her in Balham High Road...

NAYY. But I've bought many things from them, including twill and linen. Always been pleased.

DC, or the State of Washington?

Both places have excellent places to buy fabric, but it would be nice for you to be more specific.

Well, Seattle-Tacoma Wa. area has Pacific Fabrics and JoAnn's and probably Hancock's. There are some specialty stores in Seattle mostly quilting.

On line: for linen
