Craft Question (Cows)

I'm trying to find a reproduction of the ad from 90's magazines that showed a cow kissing another cow. This was for a dairy product, I think, and was all over print magazines (because online magazines didn't exist in the very early 90's). I've tried image searches but have turned up nothing. I need this ad for a Christmas project of animals, for a nursing home.

Thank you if anyone can point me to where I could find this photograph.

If you know what magazine it might have been in, have you tried going to the library and looking for the magazine?

Anatomically, only one of those critters is a "cow".

Thank you so much! It's a cute lithograph, but (as I should have made clear) these cows were actual cows, and it was a photograph. As I recall, the ad was for the U.S. dairy industry, or just plain milk, or possibly cheese. The photograph was clearly one of those fluke movements that only looked like one cow was giving the other a kiss on the cheek.

Thanks again, especially Chris R. I'll have to go to the library and see if I can dig it up, because this photograph was ubiquitous, but twenty years ago :(.

This sounds like it might have been part of the "happy cow" California cheese campaign that's been running since the early 80s. I'd call or email the California dairy board to see if it sounds familiar to someone.

Tillamook Extra Sharp cheddar is my very most favorite cheddar. I also like their Wild Mountain Blackberry ice cream...

meone.http://www.realcaliforniamilk.com/rcc Oh, wow, are those photographs cute! Thank you *so* much. I'll write and ask them if they remember what really should be iconic cows (they were so happy, they were billing-and-cooing:).

Yes, Beverly; it says 1/2 cup is only 160 calories; but who can ever just eat 1/2 cup? Not me, anyway. Blackberry ice cream, juice, preserves, or whatever is delicious.

I have always speculated that those floods bring something special to the fields where the cows graze which produces the extra special milk for that fabulous cheese and ice cream. ;-)

I do grieve for the dairymen-and-women each time the big floods devastate their farms.
