Do woven 4-way stretch fabrics exist?

I was looking for a 4-way stretch woven denim and all I could find was a va riety of 2-way stretch fabrics. 4-way stretch knitted fabrics exist but I cannot think of an obvious reason why woven fabrics are only available in 2

-way stretch versions.

Is there a technical reason why the warp and weft in a woven fabric cannot both be stretchy?

Some of the bigger jeans manufacturers such as Levis appear to be using som e kind of laminate or surface treatment to give a 4-way stretch - possibly a woven outer and knitted inner layer bonded together. After several hours of research I still don't know the fabric composition or construction detai ls to any great extent, and without that information it's impossible to fin d a supplier.

Loom tension. warps are under tension, and if they have much stretch, they will be stetched out of shape.
