Do you lust after stooopid things?

I don't understand this:

I had brand X machine. It was broken more often than it ran. It spent more at the repair shop than in my house. I fought with it mentally, physically, and spiritually on a daily basis. I stepped on the broken needle bits with my bare feet. When I looked at it my hair stood on end. I hated it.

So I pitch out brand X. I buy brand Y machine. It's great. Doesn't break. Doesn't do stupid things like brand X did. Stays away from the repairman's clutches. All's well.......

Now brand X comes along with a new machine.

So now I want brand X's new machine...and, no doubt, more trouble!

Jeeze, I need serious therapy.

(Kind'a like still lovin' that lying, cheating, scoundrel - or wayward son or daughter. No?)

Off to the room, BP~

Well, I tried hard to love brand J when I was buying a machine, coz they diode spiffy things and looked all space aged, but I never did find one I could bear to sew with!
