It's a seafood seasoning that might be regional to my area (East Coast)? Kate was jonsing some and I sent her a box. It's good stuff. Can't cook crab or shrimp without it.

Yes!!! This is one of the things I have friends from the U.S. bring to me when they visit. It's great for any kind of meat as well as seafood. I like to put it on pork chops.

:-) (gotta go fondle my Old Bay stache and cackle to myself now)

I use it a lot. :) Goes on fish, chicken, in butternut squash soup, and all sorts of things.

Old Bay Seasoning. I was sent some as a prezzy by a quilter, and Donna sent me a HUUUUGE box I'm busy using now. A lady on the WW group has promised more...

Damned good on white fish, chicken, salmon, tuna... In soups and stews...

It's become my universal spice mix, just as Herbe de Province is my herb mix of choice.

Any time at all you want some, just E-mail me. Easy for me to get. They sell it everywhere here, even in the tiny stores and convenience stores. Big crabbing country around here.

Don't forget to put it in your cole slaw, chicken salad, oven fried chicken and fries and of course Bloody Mary's Juno

It also makes a great addition to pink sauce for prawn coctail mix (which I make with 0% fat Greek yoghurt rather than mayo, and eat in jacket potatoes) and my spicy rice salad (I usually use curry mix in that).
