doll clothes one more time

I wasn't expecting it to come by again. I made my own doll clothes. My baby sister's. Our daughters'. On and on. But. I thought we'd run out of girls who weren't more interested in horses or Harleys or fishing worms. Suddenly, a friend of mine has rescued three little girls and one of them Needed her surviving Barbie doll cleaned up and her wedding gown replaced. Thank God for the serger. It took as much longer as you would guess since making a Barbie gown takes heaps longer than a 'real' one. Tots love their Barbies but we can't say that they are gentle and patient. The deed took away an entire day of my 'free' time but it was an honor to be part of the rescue. So many with the fires and storms are in need. Easy enough to send quilts and money but who would have thought of a Barbie doll wedding gown? Polly
