In my attempt to replace the elastic cuffs on a toddler's sweatshirt, I got the material, unpieced the frayed part and used it as a form to cut, made my tube, and now, trying to follow the advice of zigzagging it onto the right side of the sleeve, I wonder how in the heck one uses a machine on such a tiny peice? My "base" or whatever you call it, lowers to make a narrow base I could see doing an adult cuff on, but this tiny thing seems all contracted on itself and too small for manuevering. Stretched taught over the spread fingers of Papa, I whipped the cuffs on last night, nicely in place and looking good, but it isn't as secure as machine sewing. Help. thanks, blacksalt
