Ever Wonder How Nice Bags/Purses Are Made?

This is a fascinating Vogue Fashion on Demand podcast that details how Cartier bags are made and even shows one being stitched. Not being a bag aficionado, I was surprised how much time and effort goes into them:

Ok, all I got was something iTunes wanted me to install.

Same here - and a pretty large installation it would be, at that.

It's looking for iTunes from Apple, and if you don't have it, they're offering it, free. I checked my computer and turned out I already had it installed, but not completed, plus there's now a newer version. I passed on the newer version, and allowed connections to use it to see the Vogue Fashion on Demand. Interesting! Thanks, Phaedrine.

It's a podcast available through the iTunes store. I have no idea if it's available any other way. Perhaps ask Vogue?

Yes.... iTunes. It's free Windows or Mac software from Apple, an MP3 & MP4 player, that allows you to access anything from the iTunes store. All the hundreds of podcasts and vodcasts (video podcasts) that I've seen on iTunes are free. You don't need an iPod to run the podcasts; you can play them right on iTunes. There are many on fashion and sewing and just about any subject you can imagine. Some of my favorites on fashion are:

MODTV: Fashion Network Style Videos: Runway Fashion.... Threadbanger (for fun!)

You need iTunes or an Ipod to listen to or view podcasts. It's free. You also need a broadband connection. Modem is far too slow.

I've got DSL, but I think I'll pass. Thanks just the same.

I use the 2nd fastest DSL connection offered by AT&T, so my modem is not a problem. I'll have to pass this one up.
