Hi, factory closing down sale- this has been going on for 2 weeks already,
and they keep extending their trading days so here are the details. I have,
of course, made a huge dent already in their stock, which doesn't look like
much, as they have loads, and I mean loads of stuff available.

They were a manufacturer of sleep wear and lingerie, so have all the
fabrics, trims, laces, embroidered edges and everything else that goes with
it. This is a sad closing as this business, as sleepwear, has been trading
for 27 years. Annette's father previously ran the company for many years
also,

The owners are Eli and Annette Light, very nice people, if you are at the
premises when they are there, please say hello. Again, very nice people, and
from my point of view a very sad era of history is coming to an end. I had
the privilege of being shown by Eli, some of the specific machinery they had
made for their manufacturing tasks. Specialised sewing machines for certains
tasks of their manufacturing processes.

The company details are Serry International, 30 River Street, South Yarra.
Hours of operation are 10.15 till 4.00 pm daily. The first shop that you
enter is the garment shop, and you have to go through a side door for the
work area. When first visiting I was overwhelmed, which very unusual for me,
due to the wealth of stuff that they had.
Anyway, please tell them I sent you, as I have been visiting often, and
trying to spread the word for them.

Don't forget...........buy lots..............
( also if any one is still a member of the Aussew sewing guild list, could
you please post the above information, as I let my subscription lapse. The
more the merrier for buying. Thanks )
