Hello all - I live in New Zealand but shall be visiting California June/July, hoping to have a couple of shopping days in San Francisco. We don't plan on having a car while there, so can someone please direct me to a really good fabric outlet so I can look at a wide range of materials?

Looking at my scrapbook of the trip, I think it was just called Discount Fabrics. I have a picture of the "Pirate" flag inside, with a skull and crossed-scissor-blades!
All the RenFolks go there for brocades and other nifty stuffs

Is that the one that used to be on like 11th or 12th Street? I seem to recall going to a place like that ages ago. Wonderful, luscious stuff, and great, unbelievable prices.
