On Christmas Eve, I was sewing a blue/white patch on a pair of jeans the blue/white representing Blackburn Rovers colours
I was enjoying doing the backstitch, but all of a sudden, I wondered what I was doing and an idea for a song came into my head
it is called "Falling Apart at the Seams" addressed to my True Love and starts off
I'm falling apart at the seams You came and broke all my dreams The way babe, you stitched me up Treated me like a new born pup
a few more verses, and then the last verse
Now, I'll just count to ten You finish it all again The way babe, you please me There's no way you can tease me
as for my True Love, I just heard she may work at a local nightclub as a barmaid and she is going out with a different lad than what she was going out with when she used to reject me because she "had a boyfriend" I am going to the nightclub this Saturday
whoever said "The path of True Love never runs smooth" knew a thing or two ;-)
as for the patch on my jeans, I haven't touched since Christmas Eve perhaps I am waiting to see if my True Love can sew ;-))
