I put additional pictures here:

small bib was a practice stitch-out after I edited the original design. I decided to finish it with a serged edge and bias ties rather than toss it. I'm hosting a family shower for my DN Sunday. :-)

What a cute set. I am sure they will all be much appreciated. Hope the shower goes well and lots of baby cuddles are enjoyed.

The machine "does all the work", doncha know? ;-) At least, that's what some folks assume when they want their alterations priced out.

I love them. It makes me want to have an embroidery machine. That's not going to happen in the near future though. I'll just have to droll and wish. Wouldn't it a lot less fun if the machine did all the work. Juno

There's one just like mine on eBay right now for under $700, including the PSW software which I paid $900+ for! I'm tempted to get it for my DGD. ;->

I think you should too. I'm not buying anything I really don't need until we sell this house and are settled where ever we find a suitable apartment, No sense moving anymore than we have to. I've already given my youngest DD my SIL old machine. She loves the look of it and it gives me a machine to use when we visit her.I cleared it with my SIL first and she was happy to have it passed along to another family member.

If I had not already promised to help with DGS's college expenses for the next four years I'd be on that one like a flash. He was just accepted to Pacific University! My budget is going to be a little tight for the foreseeable future....

You don't really expect to ever be a grandpa, or an old man -- or the other - grandma or an old woman. It just kind of sneaks up on you and sucker-punches you, doesn't it? Then you see yourself in the funny pages. *shaking fist at sky*

Yeah, I was *just barely* done with being "middle-aged" Mom, when I woke to find I was an "old" Grandma.... ;-}

You should have been here when my new-agey stepdaughter was telling me I was a crone! She clarified that she was referring to the stages of a woman's life - maiden, mother, crone. Somehow that didn't remove all the sting.......

So, which stage is *she* in... ;->

She is a mother. Sometimes in more ways than one......
