FL Hurricane

Seems like the hurricane will get closer to the E coast of Florida than originally thought. We are prepared with food, water, & gas in the van, plus things for our 2 dogs. Depending on how things look Wed morning, we might head north to western GA. I'll keep you informed in a day or so. Barbara in Central FL, was in SC

Thanks everyone! We decided to head back to SC---only 500 miles----11 hours---away and we stayed there 3 days! Got back to FL Sunday evening and now we have more stuff to unload for the winter months in FL. This was the worst hurricane ever to hit Florida, according to the weathermen. It will take a long time to get brush picked up and repairs made on buildings. My family and friends are all right. Florida, Georgia, SC, NC, and Virginia are a mess and it will take a very long time to recover. Please keep everyone in your prayers. Thanks, Barbara in Florida

Barbara, I'm so happy to learn your family dodged the worst of the hurricane. I hope any necessary repairs go speedily, and you can enjoy the rest of your Florida winter season.
