I'm a total newbie to sewing, but my MIL got me a nice machine last Christmas (JUST cracked it open last week! LOL!) and I have the bug now. :-) I want to make DH a pair of nice PJ pants.
Can anyone direct me to a SUPER easy PJ pant pattern?
They are in the Simplicity pattern book. You can see some of them here:

I didn't see any PJ's though. You might look at New Look 6306, or 6321. See if this will get you there:

If not go to

And then click on the Design Search button. You can put the numbers in the search box. Should pop them right up. I like New Look patterns a lot. They are easy to follow and fairly true to size. (that means they will come out the size they say they will on the "finished garment measurements" printed on the tissue paper, and they are close to what the envelope says the will be.)
Someone recently was speaking of fireman's pajamas for a small child. TSWLTH had 2 pieces of fabric yesterday with fireman designs. They were so Cute! I spoke to DDIL if she thought her DD(age 5) might like a pair, she said she'd love them, so I'm going back this evening to get some. I didn't check it close enough to know if it is the "comfy" fabric or not. I hope so, because it can get cold at night during the winter in the Piedmont Mtns area of SC, just south of Ashville, NC.
