The textiles newsgroups charter states they are no-ad=20 newsgroups except for one, and you need to post this on=20 rec.crafts.textiles.marketplace only.
Many of the regulars of RCTS refuse to do business with anybody who=20 ignores the newsgroup charter, because they don't come here for=20 advertising, and in fact, advertising on Usenet is generally not good=20 netiquette -- and FWIW Ebay rules prohibit people from advertising on=20 newsgroups as well.
