Actualy I am getting ready for the next phase of my first project.
"Making a shirt part deux"
The first part was just making the shirt according to pattern without to much thought to fitting, concentrating on the cutting, pressing, assembling and so on. Part Un was, of course, a bit of a desaster. the shirt itself is ok , but I add to resew it so many times that the fabric riped in some places. And it doesn't realy fit: the shoulders seem a bit wide and the sleeves are to short ( regardless of the shoulders).
The part deux I will be making a new shirt from the same pattern, I will endevour to make it right the first time and I want it to fit perfectly. So I would like to know how a shirt is suppose to fit ( on a man).
I know that will very much depend on the style of the shirt but for argument sake, how is a shirt suppose to fit ?
Anyone know a site where this is explained ? or maybe e-mail me a scan of the right page of a book ?
Please
Jean
