Good SCORE today!!!

Hey, now there's a thought too! I may make a shirt for DS too. He LOVES red. So I know he would like that red stripe. Only thing that might be a challenge is getting him to wear something that isn't a hoodie sweatshirt. lol Ah well...

Thank you very much, Beverly. Oh too! That's the pattern I'm going to start her on when we find some time. I figured that would be super easy sewing, and it is. She wants to learn and I thought that would be a good project to start her out with. :)

Thanks, Doreen. ;) The report was that her friends got a huge kick out of the light up tiara (although what amused her more was the "weirdos" who wanted to know WHAT she had on her head. lol) Her friends were really impressed that I made the kimono the day before, and the it was "uber cool." I don't think I can ask for more than that. heh heh

Sounds like my DH, I talked him into buying a Cape Cod hoodie last fall and now I can't get it off his back. It got to be a guy thing, Juno

Summer is coming and maybe the hoodie shirt will get too warm. I noticed last year DGD, age 21, had one tied around her waist during the day, even playing the piano, and she lives in FL. Emily

The last few days, we've started out early in sweatshirts, changed to long sleeved tees mid morning and short sleeves after lunch. Beautiful weather here during the past week.

It'll get chilly again, though, just as soon as our first hummingbirds arrive...never fails.

Where are you in AL, Doreen? I had an e-mail recently saying my relatives in Enterprise were fine. This is where my paternal DGM grew up. There are lots of relatives in the area. Emily

Emily,

My dad grew up in Enterprise! But it's in the southern part of the state, and I'm in the extreme NW corner...actually only 3 miles from the AL/TN line, and not too much further away from the AL/MS line to the west.

I'm glad your relatives weren't hurt in the storm.
