Home-grown Iceberg foils attempt to sew trousers!

I had every intention of sewing some trousers for my MS customer today - but defrosting the freezer took hours longer than expected, even with the help of a hairdryer!

Still, freezer now contains food again, rather than a collection of prehistoric icebergs, and the trousers are 3/4 made! :) This evening I shall finish them off and sew some of my Elizabethan project, head for bed at an early hour (for Kate values of early... ;D ), and be ready to go swimming at 7:30 am tomorrow! Then I'm off to me mum's for the rest of the day, and will be home some time tomorrow evening. The stash is buried under tons of tat: hunt in it at your own risk!

I do my own whip cracking: I have a friend who also likes to swim that early on Sunday, and we go together. She comes and gets me. we spend an hour in the pool, and then we have a nice social breakfast at her place. DH then comes down to collect me. Thursdays we meet to go to WW together, and Friday we swim in the evening. She does the driving, as I don't, and I do the dinner.
