If this is fashion,

then I elect to be out of style.

More cheek than chic.

The shirts are attractive, if unimaginative; pity the models forgot to put their pants on.

The clunky shoes are *way* out of date.

Wonder what it looks like from the front?

Talk about air conditioning. WOW! Nobody sees my butt except my hubby & me (with a mirror). These so called "fashions" are crazy. No one in the real world, who has taste, would wear this stuff without adding at least 1 more yard of fabric. Its enough to give you mightmares!!!!!

Doreen, As much as I like you do not put images like that in my mind. I don't want to know what it looks like from the front. The front view may be worse than the back. I am one of those people that get images in their head and can't get them out. AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!! The person may be a model but she has no self respect. Of course this all just my opinion and I have strong opinions about "designers". Must of them are nuts anyway. Just my opinion.

Might be called 'butt ugly' by some.

Personally, I think it best just to laugh at these idiots. (And maybe save the pix to show to their children 15 years from now!!!)

OTOH, there are some very interesting, creative designers like Zac Posen, Roberto Cavalli, Ralph Rucci and others who really know how to work miracles with a piece of cloth.

OK how do you wear a pasty? Or is it another word that changes meaning mid-Atlantic? Our pasties are savoury & edible:

That butt could never be called ugly. I wish mine was still that pert (ah memories).

Pasties would be a step in the right direction, as they would conceal more.

ahem..

Yes, yes it's different. A pastie......uh.....OK. As delicately as possible. Have you ever seen the pictures of old time burlesque strippers? They would go "topless" in some of the acts. There was no bikini top or anything like that. BUT! They did wear pasties so they wouldn't be completely nude (and therefore subject to arrest by the police in many states.) They are called pasties because they paste (glue) onto the skin just around the nipple. That's all they cover. Sometimes they have sequins or tassles, etc.

Well...considering the source on that one, she may have forgotten to put her pants on...she seems to struggle with that issue. *sigh*

If I had that butt, I'd think about it. LOL Seeing as my butt is getting closer to 40 (and, let's be totally honest, also closer to my knees) every day, that particular outfit isn't in my near future. Unless acourse I add a pair of levi's or something under it. ;) Although, DH (bless his heart!) would tell me the original outfit is just fine for around the house. lol

She also struggles with the issue of keeping her legs together.

Thanks for the accurate but discreet (and logical) explanation. Our pasties are shaped rather more like bust enhancements than concealers.
