Bright and sunny here in SW France, sun all day and 18° this morning ,

29°Centigrade this afternoon, don't know what that is in old money. I am trying to get all the grass mowed before I lock myself in to cutting out 50 waistcoats, 20 dresses and 10 jeans bags for the annual Counrty Music Bonnanza. Help.

The last several days have been breezy, sunny, in the low 90's (mid

30's C). Last night a cold front came through with east winds and rapidly- dropping temperature. Today is gray sky, no solar power, my mountain is lost in the clouds, wind peaking at 30 mph, temperature still in the 50's. And now fog/drizzle showing on the window.

Judging by other posts, we are part of an intercontinental phenomenon.

Excuse me while I turn on the artificial daylights.

WooHoo!! Now that's what we've b een getting....lol welcome to my world! Today was in the upper 60s, warm enough for short sleeves while working in the yard...in fact, while cutting grass I actually started sweating. However, I had opened all of the windows to air out the house and it got WAY too cold.

I read the article today in my local paper about your heat wave. That's hot for you I know. Enjoy it while you can Right now it's warm and sunny.Beautiful spring day and the Mid Hudson Valley doesn't usually get spring. We generally go from cold, wet rainy to hot humid yucky. Juno

Yesterday produced a record high for the date in PDX: 95°F!!!

I dodged it, my DD and new SIL invited me to accompany them on a drive to the Johnston Ridge Observatory at Mount St. Helens. We were so fortunate, sunny, clear, just a tiny bit of haze, and although it was hot I don't think it reached 95°. AC in my car kept us all very comfortable while we were driving. It's going to be much cooler today, I'm headed over to help them assemble an outdoor canopy for their patio. No sewing at the moment, but as soon as I get back home I'm going to tackle the software for my embroidery machine. [Just to bring this back on topic.] ;-)
