Your apology for misjudging me is accepted, although unnecessary or what I sought. My hope is just that you and others will continue to contribute to this NG and not switch off because of perceived slights or suspicions of people taking advantage of them.
I'm new at sewing and have ambitious plans, but my reach exceeds my grasp and I seek help wherever I can find it. There's lots of OT chaff in this and other sewing groups, but the "wheat" makes the winnowing worthwhile for me.
My offer still stands re: the XL-II Maintenance Manual I mentioned earlier, (as opposed to the subject Operator's manual which arrived from New Zealand this afternoon) Since the "swap" I offered is no longer needed, I offer you a copy of it gratis as a gesture of goodwill.
