They can all three be treadled. The motor, if there is one, sits behind the machine and uses a friction wheel to drive the handwheel.

Glad you liked it. They're adorable, I think, and I love that particular number. They now have a web site that tells a lot of the history. They were just a college singing group who each went his own way after graduation --- and then they got "discovered."
