is this the same letter from singer everyone got?

Is this the same letter we all got when we emailed Singer about Ron?

Here it is:

Thank you for contacting the Singer Sewing Company. We appreciate your comments and concerns; in fact we take all consumer comments and complaints very seriously. Our decision to terminate a Singer Sewing Specialty retailer is never based on just one thing in particular; it usually involves a variety of contractual obligations.

We hope that you will continue to consider the Singer brand for all of your sewing needs in the future.

Sincerely,

Singer Consumer Affairs

Yes, but I knew that they would do this, it is computer generated. Another reason that I also sent one by USPS........and phoned. Apparently this woman has a group of friends that she talked into also complaining about Ron to Singer and several other companies about. Sounds like a campaign to ruin him to me.

Does anyone know who and where this person is? Fibro-fog has set in.... What is the saying..........oh that's it. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Yes, I know, it's supposed to be used in the positive, give love to get love, sense.

But................................

I could use my public library computers........................

Well.....Isn't that....special???

I got the same auto response from Singer as well. I am a little gleeful at the thought of one person wading through all those emails.

Ok. So you think we should all print out what we emailed to the website and mail it to Singer, then follow with a phone call? I mean, if she can fight that way, we can certainly fight back. And I bet there's more of us than there is of her. Michelle, what do you think? You had a few ideas when you first posted looked like. I have stamps and unlimited long distance so I'm game! Ron has been too valuable of an asset for me to sit by and do nothing about this. I may need more parts for my industrial Singer and I'd rather spend my parts $$ with Ron than anyone else.

I am just astonished that they terminated Ron's contract, yet keep on so many other dealers that I hear about all the time on email lists. People who don't know the products, can't teach how to use them, can't service them, have no clue about parts, and are generally a waste of space and good air. Yet Ron, who knows which end of the screwdriver to use, gets the axe.

There is no Singer dealer in northern Nevada. I can go to the Internet, or drive to California. The people who used to have Singers here also have the Viking/White contract and the Pfaff contract, but apparently Viking is more lucrative because they didn't support Pfaff any better than they did Singer.

I got it too. Want to reply that I am not planning to consider Siner in the future if we can't use Ron.

I do not know where she is but she posted to my HV embroidery group and my Janome 11,000 group. Ladell Curtis is the woman's name or at least the name on the posts. I understand her being upset but to ruin a man's lively hood is a bit much. I think if she asked for an apology it would have been given freely. It is world wide now. I hope she is happy, makes what he did costively insignificant.

Just a small typo speaks volumes. Having worked for a couple of machine manufacturers, I know the routine. Emails are not considered serious. Snail mail is. Phone calls to confirm the receipt of the Snail Mail mean business. Do what you want, I have .

Me neither - and I shall tell them so! I shall buy third party attachments for my older machines, or old ones that they cannot profit from.

I have two more older machines coming in the near future: an old Singer from Freecycle (no profit for them there - if it *does* need a new motor, I'll buy it an after market one from elsewhere), and the other a New Home.

It's a shame: they once had a good reputation, and they have started putting out some good machines again, but treating their interface with the public in such a shabby manner is NOT the way to win customers.
