labels

Hi all,

I don't post here much, but I do lurk a lot ~ :-)

I've just begun a new business making guitar straps and needed a source for labels. So, I did a lot of research online and compiled a pretty good list of companies that will make labels. I think others might find it useful. (I'm not affiliated with any of these companies, by the way.)

(All these links are for nice woven labels suitable for your sewing projects or items to sell. They're not those iron-on name tapes you put in kids' camp clothes, etc.)

These labels are the kind that are either woven or printed with a design you provide, generally in quantities of 500 or above:

companies will make labels in quantities of about 100 labels or less, and mostly give you a choice of a number of stock designs, though one or two of them offer custom designs too:

Thanks, Kay, that's a really useful site! I've bookmarked it for future reference.

Guitar straps aren't in any of the categories covered by the Acts, so there are no labeling requirements. I'll just put our logo & address on the labels (which actually will go on the fabric bags the straps are packaged in, rather than the straps themselves which will be marked with a leather stamp)..
