I gave my DSIL a blank navy sweatshirt for Christmas, with a printout of several versions of his favorite character so he could choose the design. I just finished it, and will take it to him on Wednesday:

Great job, Beverly. One of my favorite characters, too. In fact, I was just reminded of him today.
Beverly
Thanks!

Thanks!

Sorry for the multiple posts, my 'puter seems a little wonky this AM.
OK, OK, you've made your point!!! So I'm an idjit. What else is new? ;-)
To cure hiccups, drink water upside down.
Truly, I was not intending to send that message three times. It kept getting "stuck" in the outbox. So I'd add a bit, then hit"send" again... :-(
My monitor objects! Key board isn't too crazy about having water poured into it, either... ;-)

Does that mean you don't wash your keyboard in the dishwasher, as I've heard some people do?
Very cute, and very well done, too.

Thanks, it was fun! I LOVE my embroidery machine!

Mine has a big label right on it which advises against putting it in the DW.
;-)
Seriously, this is the same keyboard I bought when I got our first computer in '89 (Wow, where does the time go??). I happen to really like the layout and feel, so I've always tossed the ones which come with new computers. This one
*is* a bit grimy....Beverly
you did a great job! did you do the digitizing as well????
Betsey
The machine does most of the work. ;-)
Yes.

What a nice idea for a present . mirjam
That's a really nice one, but aren't you afraid a certain company will sue you for breach of copyright? I'm serious here (I hate to be the spoilsport), but I bought a pair of pants for DD last autumn from H & M with exactly the same character on them and read to my surprise on the receipt that the price included so many Euro license fee. Well, I don't know much about these things, I just thought that you might want to be a bit careful that way.
U. - Sorry if I'm wrong.
beverly... what machine do you have and what digitizing softwear??? i still have my 10 year old babylock ellure (it actually does a great job), but my softwear is just basic pes stuff. i don't know that i would honestly use the softwear enough to justify the price...know what i mean???
betsey
I have the Singer Quantum XL5000, and PSW 2.0a software. I also have a registered copy of Embird, which I mostly use for the special fonts I need.

I didn't see your post until this morning, Beverly, and the site says the photos are no longer available. Boo-Hoo! I love all the characters of Winnie the Pooh, especially Tigger. The
10-year old DGD has always had her room with Pooh Bear décor, now her baby sister has ladybugs, also fun to embroider. Emily
A question, please, Beverly? What type of digitizing program do you use. I've bought a book about it to study, but no program yet. I want to learn how, instead of buying new designs often. If you wish you can e-mail me privately. Thanks, Emily
