looking for a broomstick horse pattern

hi... after nate (21 months) spent last night "galloping" around the house, using just a yard stick....it seems right that he gets a proper pony for christmas. could anyone point me in the direction for a pattern for the horse head of a broomstick pony???

tthanks!! betsey "we do not inherit the earth, we caretake it for our children"

Two x over's cat walked across a keyboard and came up with this:

You use a sock monkey sock for the head, tie it off on the stick. My sister made one for my boys, do you want to see photo? Add ears, a bridle made of

1? grograin, some yarn mane and you are good to go.

Hang on a minute... Somewhere in a book or in the loft there is a pattern that has one of these on it. I'll hunt it out for you.

kate...you are the best!! nate is adorable galloping around, and hollering "kneeeeee" (his version of a whinny) at the top of his lungs.......

btw-this weekend joanne's has butterick and mccalls patterns for 99cents, and

75% off vogue...let me know if you want any.....

I have hunted High (in the loft! All nine crates of patterns!) and Low (through the books!) and I cannot find this anywhere! WAAAAH!

HOWEVER, I did find a nice pattern for one here:

And here is a freebie one that might be usable:

It isn't as nice, but it isfree, and it wouldn't have to come from Oz (nothing wrong with Oz - butif you are in the UK or the USA, it might take a while!)
