my Jeans leftover bag is overflowing

For some years now , i collected pices i cut off soft jeans` , and add them to a bag , without any plan. When my daughter was 12 she asked me for a Jeans Quilt , and i made her one , with out ever having made any. She still has it ,, Now i am not yet decided what will become of all those leftover ,, but i left them `cooking` long enough , they should soon become something .. mirjam

I made a jeans bag from the leg of jeans and used the flat felled seam for the long shoulder strap. Used the pockets and re-sewed them on each side using a red embroidery stitch. Also had inside pockets for keys, lipstick, etc. A very convient bag! Barbara in SC

If you have strips, you could always "weave" the strips and sew them into yardage. Then youcould make grocery bags, etc. Jeans weight denim is just so useful for somany things. I have a bag of cast off jeans (outgrown and too worn to bedonated to the thrift store) that I save for patching other jeans. Thefabric really is too useful for other things to just throw away.Sharon

I made someting similar to that several years ago - just intuitively, no patterns. I put long handles on it so that it can be carried on the shoulder, and now it is dh's favorite tote bag - I never get the chance to use it!!
