I'm looking for a source for the kind of netting used in tents for the windows & doors. I want to sew a screen to cover the tailgate of my husbands truck. I've never seen it at my local JoAnns & I was hoping someone who sews a lot of outdoor gear (Penny can you help me?) could give me a hand. I live on the east coast (US). I'm also looking for any tips on sewing this stuff.

Patience... ;D A serger helps.
I never have any trouble just do what ever seam I feel like. For your purpose, maybe do a triple fold hem, and then reinforce under the grommets.
