New Me-New Year

Ah, as I set and take time to digest all the notes from everybody and enjoy reading over what you all cooked and made and have done....I share a sense of how connected we all are. Except, I don't have any big sewing plans layed out nor is my machine calling to me. I have been painting feverishly for days in my 3 kids bedrooms and know that window coverings are soon to follow, but other than that, it is organizing the mountains of stash in my basement that I am most inclined to tackle this coming new year. I would like to

*clean and organize the house *get on Survivor *continue to exhibit my State Fair stuff till this years fair *doodle around with a new craft *learn to cook a couple meals

I better stop my list......or the cleaning of the house will never get done! I have learned that alot of last minute project just pop up on their own so my life is often ruled by the direction those projets take. I just hope this year they lead me somewhere exciting! Best Wishes for your New Year! Joy

Go for the "Survivor" thing, for sure! The last winner worked for the same company as I and we were thrilled that she got a chance to escape (LOL!). But seriously, I encourage all your State Fair work because it is so gorgeous. Keep that up!

Give up on the stash organization! I personally feel lucky that I can get to it on a regular basis and find the flowered blue whatever from 19XX in all mine :-D

Happy New Year to all and hope all your sewing resolutions are the ones you keep.
