New sewing pictures

I put my latest pictures here:

throw is Malden Mills 200 Polartec® in "Spruce" I embroidered for DGS's friend who drooled all over the Pacific U one I made for DGS. It's edged on the serger with white wooly nylon. His mother contacted me and asked if I could make one for her son, his BD is in late August, he enters Dartmouth this year. I delivered it Tuesday, and at her request I also added a small Cat-in-the-Hat to one corner. Sorry, no picture, I forgot to take one before I delivered it. :-(

The blue batik camp shirt is for me, I matched the center front lap. I will probably never wear it buttoned, but *I* will always know it matches. ;-)

Beverly, making progress getting the sewing room ready for the marathon session with DGD.

Gorgeous, as we have come to expect from you. ;-)

I hope you don't mine me LMAO over you matching that batik on the front. Like, even if you *did* button it, who could tell? Wish we could have seen the cat-in-the-hat, though.

Thanks!

But, I thought I explained, *I* know. ;->

I just sent an e-mail to the Mom, asking if she can take a picture and send it to me. I'll post a follow-up here if I get one.

stuff! I even had some trouble finding the buttons on that shirt they are such a good match. You'll look as flash as a rat with a gold tooth wearing that.

Gorgeous as usual! I love the blue camp shirt; blue is my favorite color and that one looks really comfy, too. Just lovely!

Thanks! It's a thin 100% cotton, and I wore it yesterday when the temp was over 87° and the humidity was 65%. It (the shirt not the weather) was very comfortable. ;-)

And a job most excellent you did with the matching. It looks great.

Thanks! I often make the attempt with prints to match the CF, although with some prints it's just not possible. I like the challenge. ;-)

I was invited to the birthday party last night for the young man I made the throw for, so I was able to take a couple more pictures, including the 'cat':

He was charming, gave me a huge hug! And when he discovered the 'cat', I got another one. ;-)

Just doing my job. Keeping your feet on the ground while your head is in the clouds. Makes it hard to put your shoulder to the grindstone.

First you complain that I abuse you, then that I abuse metaphors. Is there no pleasing you? What can I abuse?
