That is so cute!! Love the colors. And you did a beautiful job on the cuff & placket. The plackets especially can be a "cussing moment." ;) You did a lovely job!

Thank you, Sharon. Re the plackets, I caught a lucky break with the fabric...lightweight with a very high thread count (which I supposed is true of most typical shirtings, but still, that was a big help!).

Congratulations, lovely work! And IIRC, this is the shirt on which you had to tear out one placket, because you put it in one sleeve backwards? The one you have shown is perfect! And you did a fantastic job of matching the uneven stripe for the center front.

Why thank you, ma'am. That photo was one of the original right sleeve plackets. Here's the one I had to redo, because I couldn't cut another sleeve...admittedly, it was a little nerve-wracking!

Perfect, no one would ever know you had taken it apart. And your topstitching is elegant!

Thanks, what a kind thing to say!

There's nothing "kind" about it, it's absolutely true. You

*color matched the thread* when the color of the fabric changed! That's exactly what I do, so it's something I notice. Also, your stitching is, well, elegant: perfectly even, close to the edge, looks to be 12-stitches-to-the-inch, perfect as far as I can tell.

You earned the kudos!
