Opinions please: Brother NX 400 or NX600

I have a Brother PC 6000 which is computerized and have had no trouble at all with it.

Buy as near the top of the line as you can with Brother. The really inexpensive ones are not as well engineered.

I bought an NX400 in August 2004. I exchanged it for a new one within a few days as there was a problem with the computer.

Since then it has been back to Brother 3 times for problems involving the rotary hook jamming - as well as the automatic theader needing replaced twice.

When it works it's great .

I may have a rogue machine but I wouldn't buy one again.
