Opinions requested

I need your opinion, should I use the diamonds or the squares on this quilt? This is a Christmas present for my new daughter in law so it has to be perfect! The picture is below:

Thanks! Gwynn

This is yet another example of both tinyurl.com and google/gmail being inexcusably bad net-neighbors. I have reported this garbage to tinyurl and gmail several times, yet the creep continues to have access.

Unfortunately what is *illegal* and what is offensive aren't the same things. Here in the UK, child p*rn and inciting race hatred are about the only things that will atrract the attention of ISPs and/or the authorities.

Many posters are constantly in breach of their ISPs Terms of Service, but precious little is done about it by the majority of ISPs. It's a balance we have to live with, more interference by 'Authority' against many peoples' perception of their 'rights' to freedom of expression.

Must admit, I thought all of the regular posters to this NG were aware of 'Gwynedd'.

I have an older mechanical New Home (now Janome) and a new Janome 9700. The

9700 has all the bells and whistles, while the mechanical machine has only a few stitches. I can speak highly of both the machines. The older Janome has served well for 20+ years and has only ever had cleaning/oiling. The newer 9700 is a big more problematic and requires more service, under the bobbin gets plugged with thread if the bobbin is not wound PERFECTLY, but after a couple of trips to the repair shop, I figured this out and always wind my bobbins slowly and perfectly.

When I had only the older Janome/New Home, I had a cheap WalMart Brother machine used only for button holes. This machine would last about a year, and then I tossed it out because it was too expensive to fix. I finally figured out that this was a lot more expensive than just buying a good machine with an automatic button-hole.

Hi All,

I am a lurker here for several years. I saw a photo from this person a few weeks ago and have learned not to open any url until I see what the response is by the regulars.

My opinion: That poor depraved son and his new wife need that quilt (as in padded) desperately.
