OT: Happy Mother's Day

I am sending all Moms and Grandmothers on our group, a very Happpy & Blessed Mother's Day, when ever you celebrate it. I know, in Mexico, it's celebrated annually on May 10th, but am not sure when other countries may have their special days.

Happy mother's Day to you, too, Emily and to all others blessed with children, grandchildren, step-children and other assorted loved ones. I always am so very grateful that my DD gave me grandchildren, I celebrate HER motherhood.

I third the wishes for a HAppy Mother's Day. I was very fortunate to have a celebration breakfast this morning with 5 DGC and 1 daughter. Hectic around here but lots of fun. Juno

Happy Mother's Day to you all too. When I got up, my older children were just carrying a large "Happy Mother's Day" banner they had made down the stairs. Later when my youngest woke up, my oldest had her bring in a card which she had machine sewn together, sewing on cut out paper and lace and machine embroidering the "Happy" from "Happy Mother's Day." She had also sewn their hand prints onto the card. I'm glad I've been teaching the kids to sew.

And belated happy mothers' day to you all who celebrate at this time of year too. In Australia we have the same day as in the US. I was treated to a cup of tea in bed and croissants for breakfast. We then went on the Mothers Day Classic Walk which raises money for breast cancer. We have done this walk for a couple of years now. Very poignant for us this year as I am recovering from uterine cancer.
