I hope your turkey is ready, your pies all baked, your table set, wine ready to be uncorked and your veggies ready to cook. Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends who celebrate and peace to all. Juno

I join Juno in wishing all alt.sewing folks a wonderful holiday tomorrow, with lots of good eats, and fond family gathering.

We will be gathering at my older DD's tomorrow, she provides the turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and all the rest of us bring the other stuff. I always take Streusel Sweet Potatoes, and a couple of pies, this year apple and mixed-berry, and the Secret Family Recipe Sauerkraut (with onions, apples, several juniper berries and smoked ham hock.) YUUUMMMmmmm

We'll be a bit subdued tomorrow, my favorite brother-in-law died this morning. Not totally unexpected, he's been quite ill for several weeks. I have urged my DSIL to join us, much better than sitting home alone.
