OT: Merry Christma

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate the day. Peace and love to all. I got two great gifts this year. I will not need surgery on my shoulder and I've been cleared to travel tomorrow to my youngest DD's home for the holiday. It's only a 2 1/2 hour trip but having been out of this house so little since my fall I feel like I'm taking a trip to the moon. Hope you all got your holiday sewing done. Juno

I must do some bragging today. DS always gets up much earlier than me, so I expected that when I got up this morning; but was I ever surprised when he greeted me by saying, "Go look under the tree." What I saw was a new BabyLock Ellageo with the embroidery software, hoops, etc. waiting for me. Needless to say, I almost fainted with surprise. The Pfaff 7560, which I've had for over 8 years is good, but this one has so many more features. With all the technology, I am glad DS is off this week to assist me when needed. So if I am not online very often for a while, you will find me sewing. Emily

The trip went well, We had a wonderful time. DD and her family pampered us no end. It was a really great Christmas. The one Christmas present I was able to finish was a big hit. Nothing like some Sponge Bob feetie PJ's to make a little guy happy. Juno

No, I hadn't mentioned a new machine although he knew I wanted the ability to use a larger hoop when I embroidery horses on items made for DGD. I did a book bag for her a while back and thought the 4x4 horse design was just too small. Emily

Juno, Sponge Bob feeties or any other would be a hit with me this morning, it is quite chilly, but sunny. I am happy you were able to go and enjoy the visit. Those little guys(& their parents) must have been thrilled to have you. Emily
