My Red Hat Society group plans to attend. Also members of nearby bicycle clubs. And contra dancers, tuba & euphonium players, newcomers, old-timers, etc. Everyone is welcome, even if you've never contra danced before. You may as well let this be your first contra and then you'll be spoiled forever.
Potluck food, birthday cake (that would be me), a 50-shaped pinata, hilarity. (FWIW, Halloween marked my 25th anniversary of doing this stuff. Yep, been contra-ing more than half my life.) I will be wearing my periwinkle patchwork skirt and a cool top. (Guess I should go home and get to work...?)
Free will admission. After expenses, proceeds will be donated to the Elves & More--West Mich bicycle charity.
