OT Prayers, please

A special friend of mine is going to have cancer surgery at Mayo Clinic tomorrow, November 10. It's very risky surgery and is scheduled to last

8 to 10 hours. Even at that, they don't expect to get it all in that one session, but it's too dangerous for her to be in surgery for more than ten hours. She's 44 years old, and we've been friends since elementary school. Her faith is strong and her spirit is good, and we are extremely grateful that the cancer has not spread to her brain at least. There was some concern that it might have.

If your belief system includes prayer and you have a few extra prayers lying around, could you manage to send one or two in behalf of Wendi? She doesn't sew, but she's a good person and a fine friend in spite of that. Thank you.

My prayers are floating over to Mayo for Wendi, her family and you, as well tonight, Donna. My faith is very strong. Emily

Prayers winging their way to Wendi at the Mayo... Non-sewing friends are good for our moral fibre, and we need them! :)

Oh, Donna, not only do I always have prayers around to spare, but I do medical transcription and have a special place in my heart for people with difficult medical problems. {{{{{Wendi}}}}}}

I hope the surgery goes well. That seems so young to be going through something so traumatic. My thoughts are with you and Wendi.
