OT Sad News

Our son called last night to tell us the apartment next door caught fire. All the apartments in the building were destroyed and everything in them. Thank God they got out alive. At least they can stay warm in our SC home while we are in Florida. Barbara in Florida

That's is so very sad. I'm glad everyone is safe and that you son has some place to stay. It's so hard to start over but having a home to stay in relieves on worry for him. Juno

Yes, at least they can stay in our home until they get a place to live. The drawback is that DGD's school is now 30 minutes away. Barbara

That's awful, yet good that they got out all right. I hope they had renter's insurance. Some things can't be replaced, I know, but what can be - it's good to have that.

Oh dear, what a disaster! Was it some Christmas item that caused the fire? At least they got out unharmed, an that is the most important part of the story. And good that they have a place to stay. I hope somebody's insurance will cover the damage. It won't replace the irreplaceable memory items but at least the everyday stuff. Good luck for them all!

U.

Thanks U, We are happy they are safe. No insurance. They think the fire was arson or someone on drugs. Barbara
