OT: To Juno

I want to let you know we're thinking about you & yours, and all the others folks in/around the path that the storm seems to be on this weekend.

Please take all precautions you can, and post when possible or call someone on the group to keep us updated. Certainly, New York is not the place a person would expect a hurricane to hit.

You're in New York, I have 2 great nieces & families are each in NC and CT, whose husbands are in the military, plus my grandson is in Baltimore. We're saying prayers for all in the path, as well as keeping our eyes on the TV, to keep up with the storm's movements.

My prayers for the safety of all those in the path of the hurricane. I live inland enough that we didn't even get much needed rain. Barbara in SC, still not feeling well from an infection 3 weeks ago

Dear Emily and Barbara, Thanks so much for your good thoughts. We left Cape Cod on Tuesday and are well prepared here in NY. From the looks of the weather maps we are in an area that is just on a line of the storm. We aren't taking chances though.I hope that every one in the storms path is safe as the storm moves up the coast. I do hope that the weather in the south cools down soon. I'm more concerned with those of you who have had such intense heat get releif soon. Many thanks again, Juno
