OT Update on Hurricane Irene

I hope they're working out for you. I know a dentist who postponed his retirement because so many people were coming to him to remove implants. I also know the guy who was doing most of the implants in town, and wouldn't let him clean my cat's teeth. But I'm sure there are more competent dentists in the world, and ones not so enamored of controlled substances. Or nitrous oxide.

Of the seven I had installed, six are thriving. One failed after a couple of years, but I was warned by the oral surgeon who placed the implants that I had lost so much bone in my lower jaw that failure was a possibility.

I had all the implants installed by the most respected oral surgeon here, then the crowns were made and placed by a very good dentist. So far I'm very happy, and it's been 7+ years. I could not wear dentures/partials, because I have these weird boney growths.
