I just unsubscribed from 3 groups because I find moderation a bit nervwrecking, I like this group because sometimes a bit of offtopic chatting is not immediatly punished :)

ah yes I see :-) (though the two I'm on are not moderated as such and has a lot of OT banter) you will fit in nicely at RCTQ ;-)

you could try to set up a Yahoo group, which seem to be pretty easy.

I like the world of newsgroups, open, no real subscription like a yahoomailinglist (and a yahoo id with all the troubles that can cause:).

Newsgroups are more like a messages on the wall of a big building, everyone with an internetlink can see them:)

And the messages even get plastered over with newer messages! Welcome Danuta.

For someone who hasn't /doesn't use(d) English in a while, you have figured out the humor thing perfectly!

(This was hilarious. I know one joke in a different language, and that's it.)

Overhere you learn English at school from the age of 12, but before that, if your a film and musicaddict, you learn a bit sooner. About 50% of all Dutch people can understand and talk English, you also lear French (yuck) an German, its a bit depending on the sort of highschool you attend.

I'm an invalid and sleep verry badly and I watch lots of english programs and films in the night so you learn something extra:))

I don't mind French. Its the attitude that goes with it that I don't care for.

Tsk! Now you're using my typos against me. ;-) Be assured I could see the genericness of your post, I wasn't personally offended. I thin....
