Pattern drafting software

Does anyone use it? Opinions on the brands you use, please, and likes and dislikes about product and customer support. I am considering Garment Designer by Cochenille, and its two additional products.

TIA!

If you knit and want to design knitted as well as sewn garments, Cochenille is probably a wise choice.

Personally I am head-over-heels ecstatically in love with Wild Ginger's Pattern Master Boutique and had a very bad experience with Dress Shop by Livingsoft (not the people -- they're fine -- but the program).

I recommend that you download the demos of any programs that sound interesting (Threads Magazine,

had an article, some of which was online, about the various pattern drafting software packages available for home use these days) and then if you really think you're interested try only buying a small slice of the entire package (i.e., Wild Ginger's Click and Sew patterns, Livingsoft's Dress Shop Sampler, etc.) and make sure you really like it before you go with the whole program. And be sure to liberally make sure of email and mailing list and web site technical support, because no matter what package, you have to learn how to give the program what it is looking for so it can do what you want it to do.
